Bookspotting: Incoming!
This has been a wonderful week for my library! After I was deposited in Center City by shuttle bus from Sakura Sunday, I hopped across the street to Borders check again for Marie, and I stumbled upon a fantastic sale--all bargain books were buy 2 get 1 free, and all of the gardening books were 50% off on top of that! I picked up these three books as well as the March/April issue of Victoria (like a ninny I let my subscription lapse >_< Must see about correcting that...)
And today! Ah, today Amazon made me a very happy girl indeed. I have just moments ago opened a parcel containing:
Now, I am presently switching off between Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norrel and Persuasion (the former being particularly large and unwieldy, and not well suited to commuter reading), but I fear I will be forced to set both aside for the time being in order to pursue the ultraviolent zombie mayhem...with ninjas! I'm already well pleased just from a cursory glance through at the illustrations. Oh my word.
