Not dead! I think--
FaerieCon is over. It was amazing. Some things didn't go quite as expected, but I had a wonderful time meeting many lovely people, and in gorgeous surroundings--there was art everywhere! Paintings, prints, photography, jewelry, fashion, sculpture, even dolls!
However--I have been awake for...let's see...just over 37 hours. My brain lost nearly all coherent functioning about two hours ago. Also, at last count my food intake since 4am has consisted of a mug of tea, a violet mint, a peppermint, and a large bottle of water. I had a yogart in my backpack all day but I was so tired I forgot to eat it >_<
So, dinner is in order (lukewarm leftover spaghetti, mmmm), and a few hours of sleep will be necessary before I can update the details of the weekend, including all the peoples I saw and the small horde of treasure I brought home....
Note to self: Next year, regardless of whether or not I attend the Faerie Masquerades, I MUST take Saturday night off from work. This time I clearly overestimated my stamina.
