Chanel Fall 08 Couture

I never thought I'd be writing about Doctor Who and Chanel in the same post, but this is a strange collection. At first I thought it was just the curvy white utilitarian runway background, but no. The further I went though the slideshow, the more I was put in mind of 'The Future', as imagined by set and costume designers of Who circa 1978; which is to say, many of these pieces would not be out of place in Romana's wardrobe. Of course, other pieces remind me of Eldrad...

And then there are the frames. Any ideas? I don't have a clue on that front.
