Oddfauna's little book of beasts
Freshly arrived in the mail to bring a spot of joy to my otherwise angst-ridden day, this adorable art book is the result of artist Emma SanCartier's latest Kickstarter campaign. Her style is a perfectly blending of creepy-cute with an elegant nod towards the botanical and zoological illustrations one finds in vintage natural history guides. I just love it to bits :)
Otherwise, vacation has not felt very vacation-y so far. I'm hoping a brisk walk in the cold late autumn air will help to mend that. Afterwards I'll do some shopping and stop by UPS to pick up a package that was supposed to be delivered to day...new boots!
