New Project
I am still endlessly crocheting shawls. It's my go-to project when I need something to keep my hands busy--basically whenever I'm trying to sit in one place for any length of time. I have a few projects in the almost-but-not-quite-finished stage, but I'm setting them all aside for the moment so that I can get started on this Crocodile Stitch Hooded Cape by BonitaPatterns on Etsy.
Ideally I would like to be finished before FaerieCon, which gives me about three and a half weeks. If I am persistent and don't get distracted by anything else (aside from the obvious work/sleep/etc.) I think I can do it! I will be using Caron Simply Soft Paints in 'Oceana', and finishing it with these buttons that I bought for another piece that I abandoned after the the pattern turned out to be riddled with errors. I've been saving them for something special, and this seems like the perfect time to use them.
