When Ra woke that morning at dawn, he found a folded note sitting on his bedside table. It was puzzling and even more so when he saw read what was written, in his hand no less.: "It's time to forgive them, you can only hold grudges for so long."
No one should have been able to get in to leave it so it was tucked away, he would have a word with Set about it at a later time.
Another surprise came at breakfast when the day's mail was brought to him along with a gift of a knife from an unknown source. Ra was never fond of surprises to begin with but for now he would have to set things aside to deal with other matters.]
