[While the forums were littered with tales of odd occurrences afflicting most everyone else she had come to know was around when it came to what had changed with Agrat she was keeping the details on the down low. At first, she hadn't thought that there was anything going on with her, but then she found out something very strange, and certainly life affecting was taking place. For whatever reason, the bringer of deception was incapable of lying.

Whether it be trying to turn down an invitation with someone she had no desire to see or getting out of doing someone a favor, there was no possibility that she could attempt to sugarcoat her refusal. Whereas in the past she might say 'sorry, I have other plans' now all she could say is a variation on 'no' and if pressed the most polite thing she could respond with was 'I would rather not say'. This could be hellish on her personal life, and possibly deadly. What if someone found out and asked her something she knew full well could cause trouble? There was only one solution - to get as far away from anyone in the city ASAP.
