Mythology was mostly oral until people decided, I know! I'll write this down so it can be remembered forever, and not end up like some messed up game of Telephone. (Which didn't exist back then, not as a game, but anyway.)

We would definitely be living in a different world without writing.

I made them decide that, you know. Made then decide to be intelligent and get everything down instead of tossing it all to the air and making up a new thing every other week.

A Muse living in a world without writing? I would have to do everything orally, not that it'd be a problem -- I did it once before. But that's why stand up comedy exists now.
