Say what you will about brawling, but I feel a few bruises and scrapes suit me. Enhances my roguish appeal, even. Plus, people most assuredly know you mean business as a bodyguard when you look like you know how to handle yourself and defend whoever happens to be depending on you.

All in all, a good time.

In my defense I didn't start the fight. I simply ended it.

Just how badly, big guy? Broken noses, bloodied cheeks, lawsuit coming?

There was blood spilled on both sides, and considering the fight was started in a public place if the bloke sues me after he threw the first punch I will laugh.

Manly, very much so. Was there an actual reason or were you just testing spears? So to speak.

He did not appreciate my inviting someone deserving of a gentleman's attentions out for a friendly drink.

Jealous husband, Gerard? This is sounding more and more like a movie plot.

More like undeserving, jealous former husband, Diva. Sounds like an enjoyable movie in my opinion.

Then go ahead and take its place, sweetie. Insert flowers and chocolates, be a gentleman. Sounds like LadyHawke at its best.

I can be quite the gentleman, amusing as that may seem, though I tend to save romance for certain special situations.

Why would it be amusing? Rare, yeah, not that many around. Kinda sad, actually.

Some see no point in manners anymore. Too rare, chivalry is a lost art.

Don't need to tell me that twice. The idea of courting? Reduced to hey, cutie, want to go up?

It's rather disgusting the way people treat each other in this day and age. Courtly ideals were where it was at.

One could say that.
