[The weeks had brought several unsuspected events (good and bad) that Achilles was taking into account into discovering who he really was (the ruptured tendon a strong enough clue). It's disgusting. These men brand their lives at defending what they believe in and as always you have the rest of the world to squash their glory.

People don't understand what it's like to be a warrior, to be a soldier. I think if the world was less ignorant, it would be better. But I sadly doubt that will happen.

Of course they don't. They are oblivious to what it takes to be a man of war. What you gain, what you lose ultimately and how to recover.
