Anteros was raised in a rather dysfunctional but loving home. His parents divorced when he was two because his father was an emotionally abusive alcoholic, and his mother remarried shortly after that. He has four older sisters, and a step-sister (Thalia). His relationship with his mother and step-father is quite good, as with all his sisters, but he actually hates his birth father more than words can describe. When they do speak, which is rarely, the man rags on Anteros over his sexuality and lack of manly attributes, and as such Anteros wouldn't be distraught if the man died in a fire.
Baldr had an idyllic childhood. His parents are still ecstatically married and both he and his younger sister are employed in the family company. He still speaks with all of them, even crazy grandmom Duerning.
Charon grew up an only child. His father is a fisherman and his mother a housewife, both quiet folk. There wasn't a lot of talking in their house. He talks to them on occasion.
