Family

SO! I must start this by saying that I'm sorry if this makes no sense, for I rarely make sense, but hopefully it'll be fun!

Right, that out of the way: let's talk about your character/s Family. What their parents were like, if they had siblings or not, what their general upbringing involved. Were they incredibly messed up from a young age? Or did ( Read more... )

UMMMM I have a lot so I'll make them brief.

Agravaine has both parents and a younger brother. Grew up with two dogs, and one belonged to each kid. His brother was considered the "good son", and Vaine was the one who constantly got into trouble, but he was still protective of his brother. His father was a hardass and pressured him into aiming to become a cop, but it was his good son~ who became the cop instead. His anger problems started developing in middle school but went into full scale RAGE by late high school, and as such instead of being sent to jail, he went to an institution. After that, his relationship with his family wasn't the same again. He doesn't talk to his brother anymore.

Castor (and Pollux) had both parents and spent their childhoods always running away and being... kids. They drove their mother crazy (not literally). Their only sibling was Mordred, who was their brother through their father's first marriage. While not necessarily trouble children, they did have a flair for adventure, more than most children should ( ... )

Hathor had a pretty chill life as a kid. Her mother was eccentric and crazy and amazing, while her father was a bit more quiet. She spent a lot of her childhood in decent neighborhoods, playing with the boys as much as the girls, and definitely spent time with all her cousins, of which she has a lot of. The fact that she was an only child didn't actually bother her. Her father taught her how to do different Latin dances, which she still does in her living room with her boy ( ... )

Lalala continuing.

Hector always had a really spoiled life, and never really understood what it was like to be middle class. His dad was away a lot, so he mostly spent his time growing up with his mother in Montreal. She was (and is) kind of a shrewd, judgmental woman, so while Hector respected her, he also kept his distance a little. She started to open up a little more when he told her he wanted to join the army, and it was the first time in her life she showed an overprotective side. It was also around that time that his father retired from politics.

While away out of the country, he did his best to keep in contact, and in a lot of ways it strengthened his relationship with his parents. He'd come back for some holidays and didn't spend forever away, but when he had the choice to renew his contract, his mother said UM NO. So he ♥ his parents.

Skipping Kerby for now. Sorting him out a bit.

Loki never actually knew his mother because she died when he was three, so he spent most of his childhood and adolescence with papa dearest ( ... )
