Sup babes. I was thinking about this in bed last night after my router went kaput (it was a profound moment) just before I was watching Matthew Goode nom it up with his accent on screen, and I thought it wouldn't hurt to put this out as a question to all of you since... well. Relevance.
So: What accent does your character/do your characters have

Agravaine: Has no decent Youtube clips, because afaik, Resident Evil is his only movie with an American accent and it is not good. So imagine a rather generic New York accent. Gruff, low. Probably growly when he's angry.
Castor: Harry sounds like a little ponce. SO NO CLIP. His accent is English and a bit posh.
Famine: Something like this. This American accent of Ed's is really laaazy, which Famine is.
Hathor: Like Zoe Saldana's, but she someeeetimes her words can be accented. But mostly like Zoe's.
Hebe: Okay. Imagine Imogen Poots in Solitary Man, only without the sexy rawness/growly quality.
Hector: Think David Annable but a touch deeper. Because Justin sounds like he's 20 ldjhfdlfj.
Hypnos: FFnngng Garrel will never speak with a Danish accent, but there is Mathias Lauridsen (hi Gabriel), whose first name I stole (I'm not sorry). Mathias is Danish but speaks English basically fluently with a sort of... how should I say, his intonation is different? There's an accent, but it's a bit muted.
Kerberos: He does not sound like Shane West, nononono. This is where I will use Chris Hemsworth as an accent example, but Kerby's voice isn't as deep. I just know it's not annoying like Shane's.
Loki: Loki... Loki is difficult. Because while he sounds like Chace Crawford, he spent a chunk of his life in New Orleans, so he'll have a bit of a Southern drawl sometimes, or something of a French accent because he spoke French with his grandparents. So his accent is ldjhfdlj kind of a mix of things.
Percival: I'm too lazy to look for a clip. He's Texan, but surpriseeee not all Texans have a thick, drawly accent, so he basically sounds generic American with a bit of Southern drawling. Just enough to make you go "ooo Southerner".
Pollux: HE SOUNDS LIKE CASTOR. POSH.
Thalia: She's from Detroit, so imagine Regina with not the traces of a Russian accent, but a Detroit one, k.
Uriel: A la Matthew Goode in A Single Man, and no, I will not get tired of sharing this clip because it is beautiful. X( But 10 years living in a new country can't completely erase an accent, so once in a while something will be accented randomly. And his Italian has a bit of an American accent. ♥
