In ontd_asoiaf I think someone mentioned that David Bradley was cast as Walder Frey aka Argus Filch from the HP movies in Game of Thrones.

I found GRRM's clues about it cause if he showed up in the series I didn't recognise him:

Hiya, kids. Heh, heh, heh.

Olivier as Big Daddy? Well, no, but sort of. Dunk found him annoying. Harry had dealings with him, Jason with a namesake. He's done Dickens, Shakespeare, Thackeray, Chaucer, and Pratchett, and might have run into our dog as well.

And his later explanation of the riddle:

Okay, you nailed another one… some of you, anyway.

Yes, the role is Walder Frey, Lord of the Crossing. The Late Lord Frey, wedding caterer of infamy, who annoyed Dunk when just a child in “The Mystery Knight.” And the actor is DAVID BRADLEY, best known for his portrayal of Argus Filch in the Harry Potter films. Who was presumably named after Argus the shipwright, who built the ARGO for a lad named Jason once upon a time.

Bradley has also appeared in works by all the aforementioned writers, and crossed paths with our Hound, Rory McCann, in HOT FUZZ.

Good work, all.
