Ok I kinda need to know: did GRR Martin already set a date and then pushed it back? Because everyone's reaction seems to lead to that idea :o.

Ah ah! Joffrey getting slapped was the best part of that amazing episode. Which is saying a lot because Nymeria being all "huh?" to Arya asking for her gloves was pretty awesome ^^.

Everyone was expecting ADWD as early as 2009 and there was even an Amazon page with a preorder option. But that kinda blew up on everyone's face. I don't think having to deal with a tv-series helped any. All is well now!
