It was pure wonder how Gawain had managed the whole track from his job to hospital without smashing himself against something. Generally calm, that had gone out the window the second he had seen Mordred’s message online. And despite whatever had happened between him and his brother, Hell would have a very cold day before he ignored the situation and remained on his cozy life. The only time he had lost from then was to text a quick message to his blood sister, where he was, nothing else. This was family matter but that not part of the family.

And that was it. He parked the car, not even noticing what he was doing and crossed the hospital entrance with a single thought in mind. Gawain stumbled lightly when asking for information, barely remembering that asking for an Agravaine would get him thrown into the psychiatric area. But he knew the room and the nurses didn’t seem inclined to stop him. Not when nothing short of Arthur would. And the King had had too much sway over his nephew.

He didn’t knock at the door. Gawain just opened it, expression fading from concern to stone and something very akin to rage underneath. He would kill whoever had done this. As certain as his name was Gawain.

“Sorry for the delay.” For taking time to be there. For not getting enough information to be warned when something like this happened. He looked at his younger brother, trying to see any injury on him too. Unconsciously.
