The Basics
Name: M.
Age: Seventeen.
Zodiac Signs: Cancer.
Do you feel that your zodiac signs fit you or not? To tell you the truth, not really. I'm not nearly as emotional as my signs suggests and I'm not much of a homebody either. I'm much more dynamic than the typical cancer.
Do you care if your stamp implies gender? If so, clarify. Not particularly. I'd kind of prefer something with a female undertone, but if you see something more fitting than by all means go for it.
Positive Adjectives: Charismatic, optimistic, outgoing, eccentric, charming, unconventional.
Negative Adjectives: Unreliable, selfish, apathetic to authority, aggressive when it comes to things I'm passionate about.
Neutral Adjectives: I don't really understand the concept of a "neutral" trait... I don't really avoid conflict or stay neutral in situations, so I suppose I don't have many.
Likes: Sewing, frilly dresses, tarot cards, funky jewelry, funny hats, old books, carnivals, marshmallow-fluffed dresses, christmas lights, pug dogs, vegetarian tamales, coffee shops, instrumentals, B-movies, poetry slams, folk art, and lush gardens.
Dislikes: Bad company, the obviously ignorant, puppet comedy, food that insists it's "on-the-go", and overly dependent people.
Favorite Place: This little stretch of neighborhood in Brooklyn right down the street from my dream school. It's absolutely beautiful at night, all lit up by electric lights strung from shop windows and candlelight coming from restaurants. I can't imagine myself anywhere else.
What are you good at? I'm a fabulous daydreamer and, according to others, a pretty splendid writer as well. I also have the pretty neat talent of being able to pick up just about anything, whether it be playing piano or speaking Japanese, and master it almost immediately. I'm also very good with people - like I said above, I'm naturally charming and social.
What are you not so good at? Meeting deadlines, singing (which is a huge disappointment since I love to sing), and blending in.
How do you view love? If applicable, what is your current relationship like? I like to think that I'm the least romantic romantic ever, falling in love with cars and movies and books and songs just as much, if not more, than some people, eventually growing bored and cutting them loose and falling in love with something else just as madly, passionately, and immediately as I fell in love with their predecessors. The only place where that doesn't ring true, strangely enough, is with my actual love life - I've been dating the same amazing, charming boy for four years and I've never been happier.
Are you more trusting or cynical? I'm pretty trusting. I'm an incurable optimist, so I like to think better of people.
What are you future aspirations? Live spectacularly, tackling everything that I come across with the same kind of passion and intensity, and never stop - not even when faced with certain ruin. There is nothing to be afraid of but mediocrity.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Nothing. If I'm not happy with myself, who will be?
Do you have a quote or philosophy that suits you? Not particularly. I live by my own rules and tend to just wander into happiness - I'm too unpredictable to live by a philosophy of any kind.
