Ok, yes I am disappointed they changed the main character from being an "old one' to being a 'warrior', he's now an American 14 rather than English 11 year old boy, the tie between Merriman=Merlin is lost and - they removed all pagan and Welsh and British mythos content, damn it!
But it does have Christopher Eccleston as the Dark Rider.... and his hair is longer. Yum!
