When you dream on Halloween/Samhain night about a hidden dead body in your friend's tiled wall above their bathtub?

That all depends. How did you feel about it? Did you feel that it was someone you knew? Or that you were conspiring in it somehow? That you had put it there? That it was something left there from before she moved in?

My initial reaction was that it was a manifestation of "a skeleton in the closet", meaning that you were sensing that your friend has an uncomfortable secret she is keeping from you, or that you have a secret you are hiding from your friend, or that the two of you are doing something your subconcious mind is telling you is bad (depending, as I wrote above, on how you felt about it).

Because you put it close to the bathtub, I'd associate it with nakedness (vulnerability) and/or water (emotions, also associated with birth and a womb-like feeling of security).

Was it in danger of falling into the bathtub? This could be a secret that is now "above" feelings, but is in danger of being revealed as repressed emotions threaten to force its disclosure.

On the other hand, if you felt really good about it, like it was an exciting adventure (like ghosts in old castles or finding the key to an old unsolved mystery), it could mean that you've re-discovered some talent or dream of yours that you'd put away and now might be ready to reclaim. This would be especially true if, having found the body, you felt that you could bring it back to life.

Some images in dreams have fairly universal meanings, perhaps because of a shared cultural heritage. But most are personal. What does the thing symbolize to you? Free associate. I could see a little Devil's Night in the graveyard in Germany; "Cask of Amantillado". I don't know what bathtubs and tiles and bodies, or this particular friend, might mean to you.

Sometimes dreams are a way of processing memories. That is: synthesizing whatever happend "today" with everything that went before - drawing connections and comparisons. Is there anything in the dream that might be your deeper conciousness trying to understand what happened during your day?

Frankly, I think most prescient dreams are a direct result of this kind of synthesis. Our subconcious minds recognize subtle patterns and nuances and can extrapolate much better than our rational, verbal, waking minds. (For example, you know when a friend is keeping a secret. You don't know how you know, but you pick it up.) So sometimes it's quite natural to dream about something that's going to happen. These sorts of things are the ones that take you by surprise, but in retrospect, you say, "I might have known."

First, I must say, is the fact that I am an avid dreamer. I lucid dream, I have dreams of premonition, I have plot setting dreams which lead to stories later. Most of these dreams are easy to digest. And then there are the ones I can't figure out like this one. I don't normally dream of dead bodies unless they have died or are dead. So I found the fact that I did so on Samhain to be significant.
I didn't know the girl (for it was a girl) who was dead. And the friend (who's tub wall she was found in) is a friend but not a close one and certainly not someone I would expect to have issues between us (now referred to as F). At one point in the dream the dead girl(DG) ended up in the door wall of Thor's car and then was projected back in the wall. That lead to a bout of momentary panic about Thor but it soon passed.

I discovered her by simply walking past the bathroom when I was visiting another closer friend who was in a bedroom of this abode yet does not know F in real life and only sort of met at my wedding. I was coming back from the room and passed by the bathroom and saw the tiles melt away and expose the girl. Bound and gagged and lying peacfully with her arms crossed over her chest, she was lying perpendicular to the tub. I felt at any moment she could fall out and into the tub which was full of hot steamy water and waiting for F to come take a soak - complete with candles and atmosphere.
it bothered me to see her there and I stepped up to take a closer look where upon I sent her tot he door cavity of thor's car while we were rendevouing at a leaf strewn park to exchange cars. A police officer was gettting out of her car to come talk to us and the girl was then wisked back tot he whole in the wall above the tub.

It all has some sigificant meaning but I can't figure it out. Samhain is about the the dead getting a chance to say good-bye but I know no one this year who's past on and previous years have been taken care of to the best of my ability.
Not at all associated with water, I am at a loss to figure out the symbolism there, if any. And I cannot figure out any connections with these people involved other than knowing me. I don't know the girl at all. Young, mid teens, looks a lot like a girl on a recent show I watched but that's stretching it. I did study her in my dream a lot. Scrutinized her features her posture, her placement trying to make sense of it. Then I woke up, having arrived at no conclusion.
