Catching Up With Yesterday's Future
I had to take a break from the project I'm working on, and quickly have a look at the latest hoopla over Apple's new tablet computer / giant iPod announced today.
I have to say the 'iPad' looks pretty neat, and is not priced too badly for something new from Apple!
My main thought was that it reminds me of that portable flat screen device (newspad) from 2001 A Space Odyssey, on which they read their newspapers and watch videos.
I'm not going to be rushing out to buy one, but it's going on my wish list!
Ah, well, back to tasks at hand.
