They say Art is theraputic
Actually, I think it's a sanity saver.
Right before he had his accident, my dearly beloved had just discoverd virtual 3d modelling, Now, he's been a real modeler for all of his life, and a damn fine artist too. Losing the use of his left ( his dominant) hand could have been devastating. Has been, in a way, But having the PC has meant not having to stop his creative engineering streak from doing its thing. And now that he's begun to get the hang of the software, he's started to produce a few works of art. Doodles, if you like, because he's on this huge learning curve, and there's a lot to learn. But he's having fun.
And when I showed him the photo lil_shepherd posted on LJ recently (the one with the bed full of Singapuras,) he promptly sculpted this:
Which I don't think is a bad attempt at the breed (although the experts might decide to differ *g* )
Of course, it wouldn't be his portfolio without a scantily dressed girl in it. So there's this:
And then his other trademark is his robots.
