I went to the Zoo today. Twycross Zoo, to be exact. It was an interesting trip, despite the hordes of very small children, who insisted on whooping loudly and banging on the glass partitions. I felt extremely sorry for the Silverback who was enduring their raucousness with far more dignity than most of my species were demonstrating - but then it's hard not to feel sorry for the magnificence of Gorillas when facing them in those conditions. I wanted to apologise. A lot.
It was difficult trying to photograph the exhibits, often through angled glass panels, or between twists of wire, but I gave it a good shot. I even managed to come up with one or two decent photos (out of over 250 taken ...) These are a few - I might get round to posing the penguins and the flamingos tomorrow ...
