I am only half-appalled by the talk and pictures of "looters." Many of whom are probably people who didn't have transportation and couldn't afford to leave the city and are trying to survive as best they can. But they're arresting people, I read in some journals, shooting them. I hope that's not true, but it's not... how to say... out of the realm of possibility. Fucking fucked-up town.
