Hmm, yeah, I don't know. I don't think his family hated him. The only reason I could see him keeping mum about being a homo would be out of respect for Joe, who is old school as they come, maybe his mom, too, since she is very religious. But I don't think any of this family hated him. I think there were some complicated relationships there and mistakes made and some jealousies and sibling rivalries rearing their ugly heads at times, like with any family. But MJ always loved and forgave them so who are we to judge? As for his sexuality, I've read and heard from both sides. I was in L.A. a couple years after the first molestation charges came out, and my friend who sometimes acted and knew ppl in the biz believed MJ was guilty. I reserved judgment and later as I read stuff came to believe he was not guilty, so I take rumors any and all rumors concerning MJ with a huge lump of salt. I don't think anyone but MJ and those closest to him ever knew the truth, and I don't think it matters. I admire him for his dance skills, his longevity, his ( ... )

true true. I guess i never heard any insider gossip talk before, forgot how it even came up, baltimore film folk are funny.

I don't think it really matters either but I guess all those kind of thoughts on my part was part of me really thinking about michael jackson more, the whole of his life and what it all meant, in a different way somehow, after he passed away.

Just to be clear, because it read like I was conflating his alleged pedophilia with his alleged homosexuality earlier... I didn't mean to! I don't think MJ was a pedophile, and I don't care if he was gay! But just to entertain the thought even, something about it doesn't ring true. Bi, I could buy (heh) maybe, but not totally gay!

On another note, I hope things are going well with George. xoxo
