There was a stripper in my home last night. Stripping. And I had to work.
Last week I went to a Cherry Pop Burlesque show with vegansonja, and it was quite entertaining. There was the main core of Cherry Pop performers, who were okay but not really any better performance-wise than a lot of ren faire acts I've seen, and there were the performers they brought in from out of town, who were great. Makes me wonder if a similar format could be used for a theater-based rennie performance.
I was supposed to see Tegan & Sara last week too, but decided I couldn't afford it because I'm getting fucked at work (which is another post that will be happening soon).
Speaking of work, suddenly there are a heck of a lot of people from work with LJs. It's kind of frightening.
And I've thought about it long and hard, and finally come up with the
10 fictional characters I'd have sex with (in no particular order)
1) Mary Jane Watson (the comic book version or the movie version)
2) Starbuck from the new Battlestar Galactica
3) Eowyn as portrayed by Miranda Otto in the movies
4) Chel from Road to el Dorado (yeah, you read that right)
5) Claire from Lost...the Aussie accent gets me
6-10) pretty much any female character ever to appear in a Joss Whedon TV show
