Where I'm Taking My Fashion
The thing about packing is that... (1) I leave it until the last possible moment and (2) I'm bad at it. Generally, I'm fairly reasonable about what I need or don't need, that is until I have to decide whether or not I'll need it in the imminent future. The horrible skirt I'd have been ready to throw away a week ago now becomes an object of question. Will I need it in Paris? Will I need it this summer? Do I need it AT ALL? I can't decide. Things I haven't worn in months, or in some cases ever...I mean that pink pashmina that I didn't wear during the entirety of the Scottish winter, I MIGHT wear it this summer in the Philadelphia heat. I never know where fashion will take me...
