ramblings
i don't know what is going to come out of my head today, so if this post makes no sense, well, deal.
i geuss that a lot has happened since i last posted, so i felt like i needed to update. first off, my car died last week. my 1985 toyota corolla died of a malfunctioning lifter in the engine. this is a very sad thing to happen. that car, understandably named sir tobias the clunker, has gotten me from point a to point b for a long 2 years, and has done the same thing for the rest of the family for an additional 16-17 years. toby, we knew thee well. rest in peace. anyway, so i was without a car for a while, and there was the usual scramble for who got to drive what to where. so, we went to the only logical place to search for cars...ebay. yes, my parents bought a car off ebay, and flew out to iowa yesterday to pick it up, and drive it home. isn't that funny? 10 years ago, you only bought cars from dealers or people from your neighborhood, and nowadays, we by cars from people over 800 miles away from where you live. crazy world.
so, my parents are going to get home today around 2 or so, and we're going to have a new car, which i get to drive to school everyday, and that derrik will take out to utah this summer. this means that i will then be driving the truck (not something i really want to do) and derrik gets a nice little car to play around with. o_O (if you can't tell, i'm a little bitter)
