Completely unrelated, but i just remembered that I was supposed to ask you who painted your old default user icon / what it is (the orange and blue one).

Also, why is my vim acting up? Backwards delete word should remove the word from my screen!

Yep. It was Rothko's No. 14, 1960, which is in the permanent collection at the SF MOMA. LiveJournal userpics don't do it justice - it's like eight feet tall.

My current userpic is a de Kooning.

guster! I know them. they're doing the volunteer concert in iowa city this spring!

What's that? It's a thing where a person volunteers 10 hours in the community and gets a ticket to see the band!

I should do that.

It probably didn't take too long to get there, it's just that I put off sending it for weeks, then I forgot where I put it. I'm glad it got there okay, though, I was afraid I hadn't affixed enough postage.
