<3 I was useless with them, too, for so long, but Audacity is great. It really is! I think the Roots and the string instruments add a lot. Also, Frank voice is heartbreaking.

I actually quite like the organ, but I think what he does with his voice is more interesting and touching in the live version (the first 'This unrequited love' and then when he sings 'No no no' which he doesn't in the studio version).

(IT IS HORRIBLY BEAUTIFUL. There's a bit that goes 'this love was like an obsessive compulsive disorder' and I just had to stop there and breathe for a moment because MAN.)

yeah, me too, the studio version is gorgeous. but the live version, yes, there's just so many little things added and his voice kills me.
