It is more different than any world I have seen.

I suppose it's a matter of ones own perceptions, since I never found in particulary different in comparison to anything else. Considering the work of the school it looks fine to me.

The work of the school…? The skull-shaped building is a school house?

[Interesting!]

Yes, that's Shibusen, or the DWMA as some people call it. It's my school.

Is there any reasoning particular that distinct shape was chosen…?

[Not the most uplifting motif for a school. ]

[OOC: Lol, no problem. They do that. ^,^ ]

It would look worse if he had gone with the design of his old mask. This is better version he picked so as not to scare children.

[Cause Lord Death is really quite a nice guy actually.]

And… this doesn’t scare the children?

[Hasn’t met your ‘Lord Death’… yet… But this whole conversation is a little weird for one on the verge of dying himself. ]

But, I suppose if you are used to talking with death a little thing like the design of a school wouldn’t seem too odd.

No, he's a very pleasant and jolly sort. He takes his job seriously but he like to enjoy life as well, perhaps to try and set a good example for his son.

[Aww, if Tsubaki knew she'd hug him, but at the same time she knows souls get taken care of well in death, so would want to reassure him.]

True, I knew what I was getting into when I was sent to attend the academy, and he's a well known figure anyway in my world, so there isn't any surprise in regards to him being around, especially with all the work he does.

[And death has a son…? This is a strange world! ]

What, exactly, do they teach at this school?

[Aww, Tsubaki's cute! ]

[That's not even the half of it Eagle.]

Well, it's for meisters and weapons to be trained so they can work to reap souls properly, and eventually collect enough souls to turn the weapon into a Death Scythe.

[Really, and terribly normal considering her strange strange world.]

A chuckle for the irony. His new friend is a reaper of souls… ]

I see. I had no idea you were that kind of ... [Weapon? Well, Eagle sees her as a person and not a tool so. ]
