It's yet another weekend....with nothing much to do. I'm enjoying it, though, as once the week begins, time will be short. Have to pack up for the trip downstate for Thanksgiving. Kimmi will be there!! YAY!!
Today Katie convinced me to take her to the mall...she wanted new foundation from Merle Norman. Well, the trip for foundation turned into a make-over for both of us, eye shadow, lip color, blush, bronzing powder, oh, and foundation!! It was fun though. I spent so much the store owner gave me a free eye shadow! I swear, she LOVES it when I walk in there. Later tonight we are off to see the new Bridget Jones movie. Spend, spend, spend.
On a more philosophical note, it has become clear to me that I must lead my life to suit MY needs, and no one else's. I must make decisions and choices that I am comfortable with. No one else has to stand in my shoes, therefore no one else can possibly know what decisions are right for me. I'm not saying I will always make the right decision.....but I will make the one that I feel is right given the circumstances. Once I get in the habit of this, and truly adopt the mindset that goes along with it, I believe I will be a more relaxed, less paranoid person. Time will tell!
