Oh God.
On kink memekou_andri found THIS: sherlockbbc-fic.livejournal.com/6375.html.
The most funny thing is, that IT is TRUE. Both the story and the stories about Sherlock investigating Smolensk Affair XD

Another funny thing - Japanese girl about Poland. She speaks fluent english, so it's understandable ;)

I don't think we drink THAT much as we consider, that Russian People drink more (it's stereotype of course), but it's true, that foreing students are often astonished becauseo of amounts of alcohol Poles drink and the frequency. Personally, I don't drink that much, because I don't eat meat and I get easily drunk but there where nights, when I drank vodka for all night long ;)

The story IS awesome, that's true. But it's sad as well, because the girl at first only confirmed all the bad stereotypes about Poles ;) Happily, she saved the day!

A little glimpse into polish roads: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecQ-uIVPoBM
And we don't have highways. Still. They are being built for twenty years but it's still very slow, so we have only national roads.
And no, we don't ride trains that often, because trains are even slower, expensive and constnatly delayed and I am always ashamed, when my foreign friends have to travel b them. They were national business during communism, now they are private but the way they are managed is stricly socialistic :/

And no, I'm not whining, really. Or maybe I am. That's quite typical, too ;)

We have awesome things here, too. But the absurd of reality is often overwhelming ;D

It's amuses me about the drinking because Japanese people drink a lot too. Particularly the business men who have to drink for work. Then there's the Koreans who drink even more than that. Haha. So many stereotypes everywhere. I, personally, love my beer, but sometimes I should just take a break from it.

Haha, I'm glad for the happy ending and now I know what a stereotypical Polish person is like. ;p

OMG, that road is crazy. Here, Americans get all worked up if the road isn't fixed. Plus the alignment on my car tires goes off. In some cities they don't fix it, they just cover it up with a metal sheet so sometimes there is metal over metal over metal. Not much better....

Tell me what the coolest thing you have over there is??
