Potter slash, job update and Ava's 2nd
1. Firstly, I am completely and utterly obsessed with Harry/Draco at the moment! I blame you 
nomeci! *points finger and glares* lol
I've had a bit of a thing for H/D for a while now, but recently nomi commented in her post about some of her favourite authors. Of course, being as curious as I always am, I followed one of the links, and found my self in the midst of the H/D fics of Vorabiza. Well since that day, every time I get a free minute, I try to read a bit of the fics. I've read a few now, including "In search of privacy" and "Lockdown", (just a couple of faves), and am currently in the middle of Secrets, which I am really enjoying. It's really pathetic, as I'm reading it so much it's on my brain all the time. I've even started dreaming about H/D, although I'm not really complaining ; ) *smirks*
Because I am loving Harry/Draco so much at the moment, I went searching for some Potter icons. I found myself at "The Prefects Bathroom", otherwise known as
laurel_tx's lj. I am so in love with her icons *points up to today's icon*, I think they're fabulous. There are not too many H/D ones, but seriously, who can go past a little Harry/Cedric?!
(For those who are concerned, Harry and Draco haven't taken the place of Brian and Justin, but they are definitely coming up second)
2. In other news, I didn't lose my job, so yay for me, unfortunately things at work will be changing and I'm not sure how long I will want to work there for. It kinda doesn't matter too much anyway, 'cause Matt and I are trying for another baby, and once I have another one, I don't think I will go back to work for a few years (If we can afford it).
3. It's Ava's 2nd birthday on the 24th of this month, so we had a party for her this weekend. Before her party I asked her what she was going to do at her party and she said "ummm............cake.....and candles....and blow", how cute is that!
She has also been walking around singing "Happy to Avi"! hehe
Anyway, she had a great time (couldn't quite manage to blow out the candles, but oh well), she got very spoilt, so so so many presents, but we are glad it's over now, as we are all very tired!
Ok I'm going now to try to read another chapter of Secrets before I go to bed.
