Gantz-so I just started reading it more or less than 12 hours ago and now I just finished the latest chapter, volume 36 chapter 381. I’m kinda bummed right now. I mean…wow..just wow…
I decided reading it when I saw some manga caps on tumblr and I thought it was pretty interesting and I like the art as well. At first, I was hesitant because it was ecchi. Seriously, I don’t mind perversions or whatever in the manga that I’m reading, really but only if it’s a yaoi/BL genre. Yes, I love yaoi/BL and I’ve been evading mangas that contains hetero romances. Then when I checked GANTZ, the rating was really high and then I thought “if it’s one of those in the top ranks, then it must be good”. Hence, I started reading it and it was really hell for me. Not because it wasn’t interesting or what, man! It was so fucking awesome! But it took me great efforts to continue reading it because of all the boobies!! Naked women!! Booobies everywhere my god!! For those who like ecchi, then Gantz is their sweet-haven. Even so, I endured it. Why? Because I was very caught up with the plot and the art! Awesome! Amazing! Wow! I wondered how many assistants the mangaka have to create such finely detailed drawings!
I was really happy when a homo became a participant! But then in the end he fell in love with his stalker-meh! Wth? And I was really shocked and disappointed when Kei’s friend, Katou died but gosh! I didn’t expect the following shits that happened! The trill and excitement was overwhelming me I couldn’t stop reading it! and oh man-despite the fact that I don’t like reading hetero romances anymore, the love between Tae and Kei was just really amazing it made me fucking cry. [btw, I always think the name “Tae” is somewhat awkward because in our country, it’s what we call to the shits that comes out the asshole! But either way, I was kinda enjoying myself shouting “Tae” over and over again. Hahahaha!]
So all the dying and reviving was really fucked up. Like wow, you can bring back dead people all you have to do was run to your death hoping you still live despite the risk! And the aliens are really scary but at the same time, they’re fantastic! Lol. The battles were really bloody and gore! Especially that place where they were transported outside Tokyo for the first time?! That time, Kei was already dead and I was really hoping he was there to fight as well. Oh oh! Akira! Kei’s bro like what the fuck? He was a vampire? And he was still a good kid because he tried to save his brother. Such a pity he died quickly. I was expecting a fight between him and Kei.
Anyway… when Gantz started to malfunction, like when the aliens arrived it was bloody hell all over the place. Everyone just dying everywhere. Strangers, friends, foes, families, comrades, I was flabbergasted. It was a total river of bloodshed! And oh oh!! I really hated Reika when she chose to revive another Kei but in the end, I felt sad for both of them. However, their lives where precious and important. At least, they ended up together somewhere in the end leaving the original Kei to settle the scores with the aliens.
Seriously, every character was awesome! Especially Kei, I really admire his courage and strength like wow where does he get all that physical strength?! And man!! There were too many handsome guys I wish they were at least interested to become my ship XD specially from those other parts of Japan who joined the second Kei’s group! The fights were really cruel and gruesome but I don’t know it didn’t bother me..maybe because I’m really into this kind of genre?
I still believe that Kei shouldn’t annihilate the all the aliens. He should just let them go because they were also just like humans. And that alien who helped him was a really good person. She understood Kei’s feelings specially when kei was reunited with Tae. I’m very excited for the last two chapters of Gantz and I’m very glad I didn’t stop reading it despite all the boobies that I was seeing from the very start of the manga. I was happy when it became serious and there were less hetero sex and women posing like model on every chapter opening. *sorry guys I’ve already stated my preference* tho that didn’t make me like Gantz less.
Uhgg.. Seriously, I’m going to have classes an hour from now, 11 am until 9 pm. Oh my god and I didn’t get any sleep because I just couldn’t stop reading it! I’m still in a trance like now like wow that was really fucked up and cool like yeah more please!! I can’t believe it’s been running since 2000!! Wow! Amazing! XD I wish they animate it until the very end. I wanted to write a more formal shit about Gantz but I’m still in a hyper mood right now I just keep spouting nonsense hahaha! Anyway, I’ll end here. Gotta prepare for school. We’re gonna have a quiz in my first class but I haven’t studied enough. lol.
P.S. I think the hero of the alien race is hot and I like him so I hope he won’t die just you know get the fuck out of earth and never come back and live their lives somewhere else..
Another thing..i really think the guy with ESP was really cool! I like him!
And oh! Where did the dog and the panda go? And Izumi’s death was a waste! He was a great fighter even tho he was a fucked up psycho! Nishi too-there was really something wrong with him he wanted recognition so much-I figured he was really pretty pissed off because he was always being bullied and all.
God… and the creatures who answered the human’s questions were bitches and whores. Wow I couldn’t believe the words they were saying. Uhggg but partly I dunno they were really making sense.
