Winter break so far has been really rough.
My grandma passed away a couple weeks ago, her funeral is tomorrow. She is the last of my grandparents to pass and it has been really hard especially because she was the one I was closest too. I am relieved though because she was 75, had emphazima and lung cancer and basically no quality of life toward the end. She was just in so much pain it hard to watch her die slowly to damn cigarettes. After it all I for sure will NEVER touch a cig as long as I live. RIP Granny Dot.
Unfortunatly a good friend of mine also died last Saturday. You may have seen it all over the news, he was the climber found dead on Mt. Hood. Here is a link to the story.

No words can describe how much I loved him as a friend. He was a brother to me, and I looked up to him a lot. I remember when I was getting ready to leave for college and was so nervous about living on my own and how to manage money and basically being an adult. Luke always encouraged me and told me that moving out is super scary at first, but then it comes natural the things expected as an adult and that I would be fine. He was so right, I just wish I could see him once more, give him a huge hug, and give him shit and call him a jerk for fun because thats what we always did to one another. I just wish I had one moment to just express to him how cool he was. I will never forget him.
Erin, Michael and I secretly always liked you in the 4th for life club even if you were 4th ave and we're 4th place :)
4th for life Luke. <3
