What does "karma" mean to you?

I don't think there is a more powerful word out there for me. Okay maybe one or two, and one of them begins with an "O" but I think that is more of a selective thing, and Karma is a more universal word. The basic rule of all Wiccan's is that everything has a consequence, anything you do for personal gain? Is going to come back and bite you on your ass. That? Is Karma. Good or bad it is going to find you. There is nothing really you can do to avoid it, and I don't even think trying to avoid it is going to do you much good anyway.

Karma is a tricky thing too, because it can stick with you throughout your family lineage. That nasty habit you have of always tripping over your own feet? Might not be clumsiness, it could be Karma. The way that no matter what you do to remember you always burn your tongue on hot soup? Yep. Karma. Okay maybe I am stretching it a bit too far for some of you, but face it Karma is there for everyone good or bad, and you just have to deal with it when it happens.

Oh and it will happen, it isn't like I am just making this up you know. I have a lot better things to do with my time then make up stuff about Karma. Here, let me tell you about Richard. The poor thing had an entire family lineage of bad karma. I mean lineage, forget inheriting your father's predisposed tendency to drink too much, we are talking bad things happened when he was around. Or at least that was what he thought. Karma is something very powerful though, and by him trying to rid himself of all the bad stuff? It ended up balancing out in the whole cosmic universe type way and affected someone else instead.

Although from reading this I am sure you have gotten the idea that Karma is some horrible thing, and really that is only half of it. The great thing about Karma is that it is completely balanced. So imagine the fact that for all the bad stuff that I just told you about? Well there is just as much good Karma out there as well.

So just hope you get lucky, and put out into the world that which you want given back to you, and you should be set. It's really pretty simple, and trust me Karma has it's rewards.
