After work, I went straight to Robinson's Manila to meet up with Acoy
midnightblabber and my cousin, Estee. We were supposed to watch the Da Vinci Code, but I didn't know that the whole thing about the said movie being banned in Manila pushed through. So anyway, when I arrived there, I met up with Acoy who was already in Powerbooks and found out the the movie isn't being shown there. Booo. We had to decide whether we will go to Gateway instead, or stay at Robinson's to have dinner and watch a different movie. Since we still had to wait for Estee (who was coming from Quiapo), we've figured that it might be too late to go to Gateway, so we decided to settle in Robinson's and watch Over the Hedge instead. We were supposed to watch X-Men3, but we weren't sure if we've seen the parts 1 & 2 and doubted that we might not understand the 3rd part if we weren't able to watch the first 2 parts, so we ended up choosing Over the Hedge nalang.
The movie was okay. It was funny, as expected, and i'm in love with HAMMY!!! Hahaha! He's my favorite character!!! He's this squirrell who's like afflicted with ADHD or something. Funny character, I swear! I sooo love him! :D During the movie, Xave
stainedshirt was calling me but I couldn't answer it, so I texted him that we could meet up after the movie instead. While watching the film, we had some food with us (flavored fries and donuts, don't mind if it isn't exactly a popular combo 'cos we still loved it anyway, haha!) So after the movie, we were supposed to eat dinner but we were still full. We met up with Xave at Starbucks, laughed out loud and listened intenly to the sponateous stories we had overcoffee and the cheese pizza from Yellow Cab that Xave had with him. After much much stories, we decided to call it a night, and went home.
Over the many stories and discussions we've had, I realized how much I miss having those talks with them. Too bad Anna
tababoy wasn't there (i texted you kung pwede ka, pero di ka naman nagreply, miss na kita sisa!), 'cos that would have made the night complete. Di bale, next time nalang ulet.. at dapat, complete na tayo. :D
I realized that in a lifetime, it's hard to find and meet REAL friends. Those whom you can talk to about anything, and be rest assured that you aren't being judged at all. Yes, you do meet some acquaintances along the way, but it will never be quite the same. The friendship may be there, but the intensity (if that's the proper word to describe it) is not the same. It's rare to find people who will see the real person in you, no matter how flawed you may be. That is why I am deeply thankful to have friends like these people, whom I know accepted me and saw through my flaws.. yet, still trusted, loved, and befriended me. Luvshu guys! *hugs*
