Movie shoot!!
Oh LJ, it's been ages since I've talked to you! Life has been so busy, preparing to shoot my short film on Wednesday. I am so indescribably happy right now: Happy that I get to direct a $10,000 film for $1,400; happy that it's summertime; happy most of all that Simon is arriving TODAY!!
It's one of those days that starts off cloudy and escalates to sweltering heat by mid-day. Now it's humid and wilt-y, but nothing could spoil my mood. I'm anxious, nervous, happy, excited... Simon is in the air! He's on his way from New York! He's flying over somewhere like Ohio! And on his way here, to little old LAX. And we're shooting a movie on Wednesday. And life is really, really, really good, in spite of the stress.
