So Bush won the election. That's just lovely. I wonder what Dennis is thinking. As for me, I think Dubya's next move will be to wage war on the entire world.... first Anarctica for being so cold, then maybe Australia if Bush doesn't like kangaroos and his daddy doesn't like koala bears. I mean come on! WTF is this world coming to or more ( Read more... )

What do you expect? mystupidmouth77 November 3 2004, 19:45:44 UTC
I feel like you hit me below the belt. My brother is in fucking Iraq. That was in my away message today, and then you suddenly have a post about the military and knowing what you're getting into beforehand:

"And I understand people worrying about their loved ones in the military - it is totally understandable that you would worry about them and their safety. But did you ever think that they volunteered to be in the military? They werent drafted - they werent forced to join the military. They joined on their own. It was what they wanted to do. And if you're gunna join the military you should know before you sign up that if something were to happen that there is that chance that you could be sent to fight in a war."

Excuse me for being blunt, but I don't think you have the right to tell me that I shouldn't worry about Dennis because he knew what he was getting into. He grew up in the back woods of Maine and his only way out was to go to college. So, for him to sign up for the Army Reserves to pay for college is a problem? Is it a problem if Bush has activated his company twice now and fucked Dennis' college career up twice? Yeah, you can bet your ass its a problem.

Dennis came home in July for 2 weeks and I had the opportunity to ask him if he believes in what he is fighting for. He said no. He said he doesn't see this thing being beat and that it worries him.

So, for you to tell me Kerry lost... Get over it.... and the military should know what they are getting into. Fuck off. Thats not even cool.

I'm not a sore loser.. I'm not bitter. I just react adversely when someone who has no idea how I feel is attempting to tell me how to think. It is ridiculous.

So Bush won. That's it for you. For me, my brother is still in Iraq and I have to worry everyday that the crazy guy with the donkey cart isn't going to attack Dennis' convoy. And that, my friend is why Kerry gave me hope. Bush's actions aren't working for me and I want change, whether it be in new leadership or in new procedures. God forgive me.

I said nothing about you or your brother. I was speaking in general. So I dont understand why you think that I "hit you below the belt". I wasnt thinking of you at all when I wrote it so how could it have been towards you. I understand you worrying about him and him not wanting to be there. And I didnt tell you that you dont have the right to worry about him. I dont understand why you are attacking me personally when I was making a general statement directed toward no one. So I would appreciate it if you wouldnt tell me to fuck off.
