Back from Tasmania~ And notification for honors!
Pretty fun trip all around though we didn't get to see the caves some people got pretty smashed the day before *pouts*
Breakdown not in order of what was done first: Went to the beach a few time over the course of the week, build a wall at the beach, dug a hole and buried a friend in it and took a nice long walk along the beach; got pushed into getting the lantern first in a ghost tour at Port Arthur (Which lead to me standing with my back towards an open door that leads into a haunted(?) house and staying at the back of the group [Short little Asian girl at the back of a medium sized group of mostly tall people? Not a good idea seeing that the guide though she'd lost me not even 5 minutes from the start >_>||| ]... No, really. It did happened. And it was after the day that we watched a horror movie. And I detest hate horror movies. They scare the jeepers out of me.... But hey! Its a lantern. You know the cylindrical ones with the handles at the top with candles in 'em? 'Cept this was gas, though they had a candle one too! *_*) though nothing spooky happened to me; played Wii~ and found that I can't dance to save my life though it was suspected, it's just been confirmed; went to Cascade Brewery; went to see the Tasmanian Devils and weren't they adorable!, the kangaroos and a few birds of prey; played a few card games (spoons, Kings, UNO); watch most of my friends get plastered while a few of us didn't; went to what was apparently the largest Saturday market in the Southern hemisphere and bought a Tazzie Devil stuffed toy; lazed around the house; bought a couple of books from a 2nd hand book store and got 10% off as well! as the owner knew we were just visiting Tasmania; oh and we saw lots of trees and grass and sheep, cows and horses.
All in all, we all had a pretty damn good week there! And got a call from a lecturer asking if I wanted to go to Thailand in January for a two week 'study' trip on the way to the airport to get back to Melb after playing miniature golf too! *grins*
Results were posted a day after I got back from Tazzie and notification of my acceptance into honors on the day I got back~ Then the day after the results? I got my World of Warcraft Cataclysm Collectors Edn.; dealt with my game account getting hacked; getting the GMs to restore my stuff; got a WoW authenticator; got over my urge to maim, hurt, murder or other unspeakable things to the hacker and sorted out the flight stuff to Thailand. Other than that, the week back was also great!
