I should have posted this some time ago, but hell, in Hawaii, we're still kind of feeling the effects of the October 15th earthquake. It doesn't help we're getting some heavy rainy weather, now, too, so I imagine those with property damage will be really unhappy about that. But hey, no one died, or had life-threatening injuries, and most of the structures that were damaged are going to be fixed and such. The only part I didn't like was the fact that Oahu had a blackout right after the quake, AND my area didn't get power back until around 1am the next day. Then my computer turned out to be broken because I happened to be on it when the shaking started, so that took another week to fix.
But, all in all, life's back to normal. After the sun comes up (it's almost 4am right now x_x), I'll be making some calls to see about Medicaid/Medicare (apparently, since I have a lifelong disability, I'm already applicable for such aid at the age of 23), then trying to figure out where the HELL 'Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf' is, since I've never heard of the place before, and I'm supposed to be meeting someone there on Friday. Is Hawaii the only place where you could have a place called 'Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf' in an area known as Puck's alley, which happens to be, what, two blocks away from a campus of the University of Hawaii?
On another note: Naoko-chan! I might not need to go shopping on Friday. My uncle sent us a webcam, which includes a microphone, so I can soon send you my attempt at singing Hiei's part of Wild Wind. Also reminds me, in the anime-related field, I need to shop online for replica katanas for my Otakon Aya Fujimiya costume. ::grins::
Life is okay, aside from listening to my old lady complaining and whining she's going to die soon. I've just been playing Gaia and Runescape a bit, but I'll soon return to my old pixelated eye-candy of MapleStory, and working on assorted original writing projects. Deviantart is a go, so that's where any art I come up with will go. Aside from that, I need to figure out how to make myself sleepy...
