Vacations are supposed to be fun...aren't they?
Okay, so I'm awake at the ungodly hour of, what, four in the morning, Hawaii time? I got some sleep, and am dreading the idea of how busy today will be. Will be finished packing my luggage, and have been told last night that I might be dragged out to go see the Chronicles of Narnia (which is okay, but when you have to buy and pack things last-minute, do you want to be distracted?). Have to go see a doctor for something called skin tag removal...whatever that is, I can't imagine it's pleasant. On the good side, I have a new Sony audio player that doesn't require CDs, and on which I have all my favorite J-pop/rock and English-language songs to torment my travelmates with >)P
From tonight, until the 7th of January, I will be on the Mainland US, and probably not near a computer most of the time, so I'll be amazed if I get a chance to email anyone. Trying to squirrel away what I can for when I get back, and finish up my part on some stories so nekohimenaoko can hold them and work on her guys in there >)P
The only light in this right now is that while I practically hate one of my cousins who's going with us (finally realized he's being verbally abusive, but since I don't even pay attention to or remember half of what he tells me, what do I care?), I will get away for that for a few days towards the end, when I get to stay with my lovely godmother and her menagerie of animals (dogs, cats, a horse, a possum, bird, ferret, and some baby raccoons she rescued XD). Since I'm meeting up with Mum there, and she's bringing along a digital camera, I might be able to upload some pictures of the animals...why do I think anything furry is so cute? >)P
Well, that's about the most of it. I'll get to update my fics when I get back, and there's smut in the wings to be done, so I can happily ignore my idiot cousin and flee to the safety of family insanity with my siblings and other cousins...I will get back to all when I have chased down my sanity :)
