it's me, in case you did not realize. i had a brain fart and couldn't remember my password and managed to lock myself out for an hour AND I CANNOT WAIT THAT LONG

After tonight, he was either going to have to burn it or make it a shrine. He couldn’t decide which.

We know, Henry. WE KNOW. dilemmaz. he has them.

“You don't have a cat.”/“I have to go purchase a cat and then feed it generously.”

frankly, this is my favorite piece of dialogue from TV last year. i applaud it showing up anywhere.
and i still say Henry probably ended up compromising and watching cat videos all evening

#2? PIVOTAL. Not never, just not now. and also because CUDDLING. i have a thing about people who are all up in each other's personal space + cuddling.

“Because you’re a good friend, Henry & I knew as soon as I texted you that I was taking a sick day, you’d come by eventually.”

about the point where the flappy hands were starting to rise into a flutter.

He scooched a little closer to her on the couch, hands resting lightly on her waist.

“Absolutely not.”

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT LOOK WAS ON HIS FACE AND THEN THIS HAPPENED:

I can kinda see Henry's family being like Mrs. Kim from Gilmore Girls on steroids...

I CANNOT HANDLE THE ADORABLE FACTOR ELEVENTY TWELVE.
Eliza would be a crazy pregnant lady and Henry would be so very Henry about it and probably read a dozen books on pregnancy and have charts and a very carefully planned out diet for optimum pre-natal health which Eliza would gleefully translate to EPIC BABYMAKING and point out that they're apparently pretty good at that already and despite all his plans Henry would still find himself grinning like an idiot at the supermarket shelves when she decided she wanted flaming hot cheetos and chunky monkey ice cream at three in the morning and help i just gave myself the feelz.

lol it IS fantastic dialogue. But idk...I see him being too tortured to be soothed by felines. THAT DAMN JACKET.

Do you even realize how much fun I had reading this? my pleasure ^^

I feel like it's suddenly become The Jacket to Henry, definite article and all.
and when NEXT TIME happens, Eliza knows exactly what it does to him so she always steals his jacket and/or asks for it when they're out, and it turns into A THING with them.

I also feel like before sometime post Freddie but before next time happens she finds ways to work that phrase into conversations, like in the middle of one of Saperstein's breakfast meetings when Henry's presenting an idea she helped him with the previous night.

He looks around, confused when he comes up with an empty portfolio, but Eliza just smirks across the table at him and goes "Henry, I wanna give you your packet back," and hands it to him.

When he manages to drag higher thought out of the very dark pit Eliza has momentarily banished it to, she's giving a brief summary to Saperstein and pulling him into the conversation seamlessly.
"-and so Henry and I were discussing ways to appeal to a broader market. Henry?"

"Uh, yes. So with the marketing campaign for Vita-Peelz, we need to expand the target audience.."
He manages to pick up the thought, despite Saperstein smiling like he knows exactly what just happened. Henry spares half a second to wonder whether he might, but frankly he isn't sure himself. He very carefully avoids making eye contact with Eliza until the informal briefing ends, if only because he doesn't trust himself. Even less when she's wearing that shade of lipstick.

....that turned out more like fic than headcanon but whatever. xD
