Alfred had things to say, a million more things to say - “I know” and “There’s nothing else to talk about” and “Oh god what are we doing,” but he couldn’t find the breath to say them. Something vicious and tight was squeezing his lungs, something he vaguely recognized as hope. Matthew was too close, or possibly not close enough, but he ( Read more... )

Using my roleplay journal to stay semi-anon... Though most days, I do wonder if it's a futile effort. XD;; ♥

And oh my god, seriously, you have nothing to worry about when it comes to skill and seeing inside Mr. Jones' head. Because, damn. This was perfect. Well-written and so true to their emotions.

Oh... ♥ I adore this. This part in particular here: But Matthew’s weight was as heavy and real as the breath on his cheek, as the “Don’t,” whispered against him as he tried to push Matthew away (as though there was anything he wanted less in the world than to push Matthew away.)

He’s my student, Alfred thought, and he tried to connect that thought with the man pressed against him. I’m his professor. He’s my student.

Just... hnnngg, all of that! The weight and the bit about anything less in the world and how he tried so hard, so hard, to remind himself of why he shouldn't want this. Because that is totally my head canon, almost word for word. You are just... awesome. Especially in how he's thinking "my student," but his honest impression of the person above him is of a man, of Matthew.

Suddenly it wasn’t gravity holding him to the earth, and it wasn’t the stars that wrapped around him.

... ♥

And the kiss, I can't even talk about. YUM. XD;; Um... YES.

This was great. ♥ Thank you for writing it!

Perhaps a little bit of a futile effort, as I've followed your stories before, but shhhh, I won't tell anyone. XD

I'm thrilled that you liked this! You've probably heard this quite a bit, but I admire your writing so much (...obviously, I'm writing fanfiction for it) that your compliments just mean that much more.

...I think I need to write more Canada/America stuff. (Yes, by the way, in that order. Assertive!Canada is just... unf.) You introduced me to this pairing, and now it's kind of eating my brain X'D
