(no subject)
i'm back in edinburgh for my fiiiinal semester (hopefully) as an undergrad. i have to say, though, some of my courses this term are distinctly underwhelming, and i am -not- happy with the sheer incompetence that seems to define both my departments. it is absolutely freaking freezing in the uk. woke up at 430am today since am still horrifically jetlagged, and watched the snow fall outside my window. stopped falling at about 9am, at which point i fell asleep and woke up panicked at 10am for my 11am lecture. have just watched ep9 of ohitorisama, and am seriously, seriously in love. it's like they took all that was wrong with anego, fixed it and added characters that were actually lovable. wheee~ okay now i have to finish unpacking, and clear all my papers and actually start doing some reading for my dissertation. which is now on sacral kingship in the early abbasid empire. fun~
