Ever have a case of
Murphy's Law, saw it coming, and tried your hardest to beat it by doing something you, for some reason, thought could beat "the system"?
As we all know, it is common sense that if you wash your car, something out of the clear blue will interrupt your session. This time, it was in the form of tree branches and, I could swear, flying cats passing me by as i'm trying to furiously finish waxing the car. The clouds were increasing in darkness and the winds picking up speed VERY quickly. Before I know it, I have something in my eye, sand is coming off the ground and spreading its seed all over the car. I tried my hardest, but i couldn't wax the rest of the car. So after spending an hour washing every knook and cranny of the trunk, door, and hood edges, inside and out, it just gets dirty instantly.
That and if someone says they'll call you, whether it be a friend you haven't spoken to in years or a job opportunity, they won't call.
Bastard Murphy. Not Jennifer's Murphy, but that other asshole. :)
