one small step for an aspiring educator
i just submitted my application for student teaching. it's the first of many things i must do. but it's a start. i put vegas as my first choice, south salt lake as my second, and a local area as the third. i'm pretty excited...and nervous at the same time. hopefully, poo and i both go to vegas. that's the plan anyway.
it snowed today. that's right, babies. s-n-o-w in the end of may. haha! it was kinda weird to walk to class in a snowstorm on may 22nd.
i'm very seriously contemplating applying for a ta job here on campus. i will take a hit in pay and a cut in hours should i get a campus job, but a ta position is much more in line with my future profession than making tacos. being a ta would give me applicable experience, and it would look good on a resume. plus, i am getting burned out at the bell. i love the poeple i work with, but i find myself getting really frustrated at work. we'll see. if i do apply for a ta position it won't be until the fall semester anyway, so i have some time to think it through.
