Because I missed it.
I'm awake now, but I wasn't when I wanted to be. Don't you hate it when that happens?
First of all, thank you very much for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers last weekend, it really helped alot. I'm working on a tribute entry that includes the song "Party like a Rockstar". Seriously.
My birthday was okay, considering. "There's no cake, and no ice cream, happy birthday!" ~ Brian Regan. Since there was no cake, I got sticky buns and vanilla ice cream. No candle, like that one time where my mom "flipped me off", so we used a votive...on the side instead.
Today I have to go to Gettysburg for the Intern conference. Apparently they have us doing stuff up to 10 PM every day. WTF?!?!? I can't stay up that late, I'm old.
Okay. They finally did it! I've been watching Tin Man, on Sci-fi channel. It's The Wizard of Oz on futuristic crack. It's been okay so far. I fell asleep during the last episode, so I'm not quite sure how the ending is.
Anyway, before I fell asleep, tehy told Dorothy to go find "Ahomo", and the exchange went a bit like this.
Dorothy's Mom: You need t go to the whatever place and go find "Ahomo". (the "hom" part sounds like hominy).
Dorothy: Who's Ahomo? (sounds like "a -homo".)
So I've been waiting for Dorothy (played by Zooey Deschanel, Bones!) to say something about Ahomo, and then have the camera pan to the Scarecrow, played by Alan Cumming. *evil laugh* I'm so bad. Well, they did it, but it sounded like hominy, so it wasn't AS funny, but it was there. I've also been waiting for her to say "What's that mean?" , but I don't think its going to happen.
HP Update: I've moved on to Book 6 and since, so far it's been Snape-loaded, so I hear Alan Rickman in my head say things like "Weren't you fighting teenagers?" *girlish giggle*
