OMG! I guess I AM the concrete girl after all!
I so forgot that the Leasing office has the "Business Center". In which there is a computer. With FREE INTERNET! *hugs* It's open until 6PM so I see more posts in the near future. Until I can get my computer back and my internet set up.
Today at work!
I went with like half the office (there's 9 of us..so tecnically it was 2/3 the office) to the Mexican place. Mexicali Cantina. It was quite nice. Good food. I got El Paso Combination. It had a seafood enchilada and a spinach enchilada. It was quite good. And I got some avocado to go with my rice and beans. I want to go when they go to the Cuban and Indian places. Aparently Frederick is the cuisine capital of MD.
So anyways, Jon (who is very tall and very white), truned to me in the middle of lunch and asked "So you know any good salsa dancing places in Frederick?" I just kinda giggle and said "I just got here!" and then he was all like "you've been here longer than I have!" and I was all like "No, I moved in like last week!" And then he ended at that.
I thought he was kidding, but apparently he is an avid salsa-dancing liker. As in he likes to salsa dance eventhough he probably has no idea what he's doing. I don't see his twinkle-toes-ness at his lumbering 6'4". Especialyl since he's not Latin/hispanic. But he is a world traveler.

I actually got work today! I have to coordiate the furnishing/finishing of the Intergrated Program Office. Which basically means calling alot of people on the phone and hassling them about getting the furniture together so we can move into the building. It's very serious business. Except Voicemail dooms us alL!
I'm also pondering going on a training to Johnstown, PA...which will take from about the end of August to the end of November. And it's for HIGH IMPACT PAVEMENT! It'd be training and then doing QA for what we just learned on a project.
My mommy made me a shirt! And I wore it to work today. It's very pretty and soft. And It'd be cooler if Simplicity weren't a douchebag and decided to make their patterns really weird and then the shirt is too big and too small all at once.
I think that's it. The coldness of the room and the urge to pee are limiting my thinking abilities.
Imma go and read some Harry Potter now...well, after driving the rest of the way home.

P.S. - Giant Eagle is the COOLEST grocery store ever. They have this program called "FuelPerks!" and you use your little club card and for every $50 you get 20 cents off a gallon of gas at their gas station. My first grocery run was $107. I got 40 cents off per gallon. Their gas station price was $1.69. So I got a full tank of gas for $1.29 per gallon. So great!
P.P.S. - And apparently the printer in here is configured in German...,or Swedish.
