hunters and bangers and mash
Last night I went out with some friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. Dude is an Eagle Scout, so when asked what he wanted to do, he said he'd like to shoot some bow and arrow. Apparently at the Bass Pro Shop you can do just that, so we gathered his three bows, bought two packs of arrows, and went to town on some foam animals.
I'm a pretty spiffy shooter (of still-standing foam animals)! No Legolas or anything, but the boys were impressed. XD
Dude also wanted to eat at this Irish pub called The Field. They have a 110 year old Banyan tree out front that is SO climbable (unfortunately, there is a "do not climb" sign and I can't blame drunkenness as my reason for disobeying...). Had some "Irish Stew", which was good, but wow, they served a lot. And my first Onion Ring, and Bread Pudding.
